A Must-Attend for Japanese Companies in Vietnam! Seminar on Improving Local Business Efficiency

A Must-Attend Seminar for Japanese Companies in Vietnam: Improving Local Business Efficiency

According to the “Survey on Japanese Companies Expanding Overseas (December 2022)” by ETRO, Japanese companies in the Vietnamese market continue to show strong willingness to expand their businesses. The main drivers of this expansion are anticipated increases in sales from exports and local market operations, with a focus on strengthening production and local sales functions.

On the other hand, key management risks include administrative procedure efficiency, tax system and tax procedure efficiency, and the state of legal frameworks, which remain major business challenges for Japanese companies operating in Vietnam. Additionally, rising labor costs and the need to import raw materials or components from Japan that are not available locally increase the importance of cost management.

This seminar will feature Mr. Miki from Tokyo Consulting Firm, who will provide insights on Vietnam’s accounting practices, tax system, and taxation characteristics. In the second half of the seminar, solutions supporting the management infrastructure for companies operating in Vietnam will be introduced.
