(VOVWORLD) – On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam co-hosted a conference titled “Meet Japan 2023” in Hanoi on the 2nd, aimed at promoting exchanges between Vietnamese localities and Japan.
“There remain great opportunities to promote exchanges and cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the fields of education and training, cultural exchange, tourism, and people-to-people exchange. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam will continue to work with partners to support Vietnamese localities in expanding their connections and exchanges with Japan in various forms. Today’s conference will serve as a valuable platform for Vietnamese localities, Japanese organizations, and the Japanese business community to meet, interact, and promote potential cooperation,”
said a representative of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Meanwhile, Japanese Ambassador Yamada Takio stated that Vietnam ranks second in the world among countries where Japanese enterprises wish to expand their business and investment, expressing his confidence that bilateral relations will continue to grow even stronger in the future.
