More than 1.5 million international tourists visited Vietnam in January this year.

(VOVWORLD) – According to data released by the General Statistics Office, more than 1.5 million foreign tourists visited Vietnam in January this year, marking a 10% increase compared to the previous month.

This growth is attributed to the promotion of tourism campaigns and Vietnam’s growing reputation as a safe and friendly travel destination.

Meanwhile, at the 2024 ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) held recently in Vientiane, Laos, 25 Vietnamese tourism businesses received various ASEAN Tourism Awards, including the ASEAN Green Hotel Award, the ASEAN Clean Tourism City Award, the ASEAN MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) Tourism Award, and the ASEAN Sustainable Tourism Award.
