Tourist arrivals to Khanh Hoa Province increased...

(VOVWORLD) – According to statistics released on the 26th by the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism, the province welcomed a total of 2.1 million visitors in the first quarter of this year, 2.7 times higher than the same period last year.

Notably, during this period, the number of foreign tourists to Khanh Hoa exceeded 1.2 million, five times higher than in the same period last year, surpassing domestic visitors by 940,000. For 2024, the province has set a goal of welcoming 9 million tourists, including 3 million foreign visitors, and achieving tourism revenue of 1.6 billion USD.

To achieve this target, Khanh Hoa plans to organize a variety of cultural and tourism events, such as the Marine Tourism Festival and the “Bay of Lights” Festival.

Pham Minh Nhut, Vice Chairman of the Nha Trang Tourism Association, said:

“Khanh Hoa Province and Nha Trang City are improving infrastructure to serve tourists at all levels. A large number of tourists from China are expected to arrive. In the second quarter, Khanh Hoa plans to conduct market promotion activities in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, China.”
